The whole place is amazing and very well kept. The lady at the front desk was also very kind to my daughter with autistism. They even have a hidden gem show that plays every hour in the auditorium with lights, sound, seats and floors that vibrate, and heavy winds. It felt like watching a movie in Imax

Its been many years since I've been here and its way better than I remember! Me and my family visited and absolutely loved all of the different snakes and animals we saw and the different interactive displays were super cool! There's so much to see inside and there are a lot of trails outside, a butterfly garden, a pond, a native plant garden and much more to see! We saw so many birds flying around in the trees outside as well which was awesome. They also do a ton of different events here and other locations and they also have a small theater! We will definitely be back to explore more another day! Just a few πΈ

Always a fun time bringing the kiddos. Its a nice afternoon trip. Seeing the reptiles and other exhibitions is great. Craft and education days are fun. Hopefully we can get good rain to refill the pond.

Our families thoroughly enjoyed today's visit, which proved to be a highly engaging and interactive experience. The short film and impressive taxidermy exhibits were particularly noteworthy. As for live animals we saw different snakes, different kinds of frogs, an alligator, turtles and fish. The trails we walked were very peaceful and easy for our youngsters to manage. The employees were most kind and helpful. There is also a cute giftshop for mementos. We highly recommend taking your family here to enjoy this museum and beautiful outdoor scenery. We give it 100/100.

Very well done nature center located on the other side of Craighead Forest Park. The setup is very well done and they have a building with multiple floors of exhibits, including live animals, videos, and more. They often put on special events for the community, including children and they offer a variety of classes for people as well. There are trails all around the facility for those who want to explore and you can even catch some wildlife out on these every once in a while. There is plenty of parking, although it can get minimal quick if they are hosting a popular event. There is no fee for entry or parking. There is a gift shop, if you want some merchandise or memorabilia from your trip. Overall, just a well put together venue and an asset for Jonesboro and northeast Arkansas.
